“CHEFS IN THE CITY” 2ND EDITION: FINAL DINNER AND PARTY AT KEMPINSKI HOTEL

_MG_3141On Thursday, January 15th, Chefs in the City Shanghai hosted its 6th and last, limited seats, dinner of the second edition of the charity event at Grand Hotel Kempinski. This 6th dinner brought together more than 70 customers, for an exciting evening which included a standing appetizer, CITC cocktails with Amaro Lucano and the hot and cold cocktails with Illy coffee, a 5 courses dinner plus a WOW moment created by the host chef David Bassan, 7 kinds of wine gently offered by Chefs in the City sponsors.

The WOW moment presented by Chef David Bassan has caught the attention of all the guests: a live preparation of the dish consisting in an egg mixed with caviar and wrapped inside a plastic bag like an amuse-bouche.

During the last event of Chefs in the City the guests have been entertained by the beautiful voices of the singers Antonio Voria and Alessia Raisi, 3 lucky draws with amazing prizes gently offered from CITC sponsors and a singing competition.

 
 
 

bb_-0069Following the last CITC dinner the final party of Chefs in the City have taken place in the same location at Grand Hotel Kempinski: the dinner hall has left space to music and drinks and a lot of fun for all the guests.

Chefs in the City is a Shanghai based non profit organization comprised of some of the city’s premier Italian chefs, aims to create the very best of the “Italian culinary experience” but with globally sourced ingredients of the highest quality.

The third and new edition of Chefs in the City will start at the end of March 2015: the locations are still secret but will be revealed very soon. 40 seats available for the dinners. Price for this dinner experience: 888RMB.

_MG_3393Following the end of the second edition we are proud to announce that net amount of the events will be donated soon to the Cancer Recovery Centre Hand in Hand. Once the chefs we will be back in Shanghai we will make a visit to Hand in Hand for the donation. The amount will be revealed at the beginning of February.
