Benjamin Zahn appointed as General Manager of Le Royal Méridien Shanghai

Starwood Hotels & Resorts has announced the appointment of Benjamin Zahn as General Manager of Le Royal Méridien Shanghai.

Benjamin steps into his first Genernal Manager post at Le Royal Meridien Shanghai. In his new role, he will be responsible for all aspects of Le Royal Méridien Shanghai’s operations, enhancing employee development and guest satisfaction, strategic planning and brand recognition.

Spanning more than 17 years in the international hospitality industry. Benjamin’s enthusimasm together with strong proficiency in leadership in hotel operations have prepared him well for this position. Benjamin gained experience in several operational positions as well as Sales and was holding various Food & Beverage management assignments in Germany and Dubai before he first joined Starwood at The Westin Beijing Chaoyang as Director of Food & Beverage before tansferring to The Westine Kuala Lumpur as Hotel Manager. With a solid Food & Beverage background, Benjamin’s extensive experience has also seen him involved in a variety of initiatives within Starwood Asia Pacific Food & Beverage Council. Most recently, Benjamin was the Hotel Manager of Le Royal Meridien Shanghai.

With a good understanding of the luxury customers’ needs and his proven ability to motivate and develop the team to deliver exceptional results, Benjamin is a dynamic, results-driven leader with the ability to gain team alignment. Operationally savvy, he embodies the passion for excellence and possesses strong business acumen.
