VANTAGE: What kind of pieces do you have the most in your closet?

CHENG: Basics in either black or white... But really what I have the most of is yoga clothes & colour coordinated trousers.

VANTAGE: Which fashion designer is your favorite?

CHENG: Hard to choose just one! But Maison Margiela is certainly at the top of my list, along with Ann Demeulemeester, Yohji Yamamoto, Rick Owens & The Row.

VANTAGE:  What’s the kind of the main pieces that you have the most in your closet?

WANG: What I have the most in my closet is shirts. They are easy to mix and match.

VANTAGE: What is your favourite item of accessories?

WANG: It’s ring that I like the best.

VANTAGE: What type of shoes and bags do you like best?

WANG: I like high heels with sharp heads. As for bags, I like ones of simple design.

VANTAGE: When going out, what is a must-have?

WANG: My lip moisturizer.

VANTAGE: What's your favourite perfume? Is there any particular reason?

WANG: I like Jasmine Rouge by TOM FORD because I love the specific scent of Jasmine. 

VANTAGE: Which fashion designer is your favorite?

WANG: Alber Elbaz.

Mao Jiaying, Stylist

Popular blogger and stylist Mao just had a successful collaboration with the famous street photographer Nick Wooster during Fashion Week, as well as doing cross-over works with fashion brands.


VANTAGE: What's your favourite dressing style as a whole? Will you use a particular way to make your style look different from others?

MAO: I like easy and simple style, especially some pieces of unique design that is very easy to do mix and match. They are usually iconic and catch eyeballs immediately. And when you put some small accessories on, they become totally different, almost another piece.

VANTAGE: What’s the style of your favorite shoes and bags?

MAO: I  care for its design style about shoes. They must distinct and have classical and simple colours. As for bags, I don't prefer ones with big logos. I like bags that are in special appearance which look well-decorated. Well, they must be small! They help on the whole style.
