SIHH opens the year of haute horologie with the most exclusive collections of some of  the world’s nest watches. By invitation only, it is the place to be to see the glitz and glam of the superstars of the entertainment industry rubshoulders with luxury moguls.

This year SIHH’s IWC press conference was a star-studded a air,with the likes of Zhou Xun, Chris Evans, and Lewis Hamilton making an appearance. The dinner gala featuredinternational music stars Patti Austin, Ronan Keating, Curtis Stigers Eric Harland, and Till Bronner in the revue-style show titled “Come y with us”. With the assistance of Pepe Lienhard's big band, the event has been hailed as an audio-visual feast. There were also many superstars in Montblanc’s exhibition hall, including brand spokesman Hugh Jackman, Charlotte Casiraghi, and Lunmei Gui.


There are plenty of marvel at aside from the celebrities; the arrangement of each exhibition hall is delightfully different. The most impressive thing you notice when you walk into the IWC exhibit is a genuine Superma-rine Spitfire plane, notable for its use by the British Royal Air Force during the SecondWorld War and shipped from Manchester to Geneva. It is a poignant tribute to when IWC made their rst pilot watch in 1936, aswell as setting the tone for the new Pilot’sWatches collection. The interior decoration is luxurious, elegant, concise, and comfortable.The pilot theme extends to every elements of the exhibit where the combination of retro and mechanical texture conveys the toughand fearless spirit of the fighter pilots.

They certainly know how to make an entrance over at Roger Dubuis’s exhibition hall; the dramatic setting evoking theworld’s most glamorous lm events withthe intent of providing the perfect stage on which each woman can unleash her inner diva.


Piaget’s exhibition hall used lumines-cent optic fibre hanging down from the ceiling to create a dazzling and ethereal visual effect while Vacheron Constantin, as an old brand that has a nearly 260-year history, preferred to go with with an elegant and simple design to make visitors feel comfortable andgive them a sense of privacy.
